Standard NPTF - Camozzi’s all metal fittings are 100% electroless nickel-plated brass. Full ID tube flow is always maintained for maximum Cv ratings and quick cycle times. “Push-in” and lock the tube quickly and effortlessly.
Pro-Fit® thread design allows assembly with all female thread NPT forms. The new model is interchangeable with tapered thread fittings. The special sealing method has a locking effect similar to that of the taper model. Since the sealing ring is made of PTFE (Teflon®), it is not subject to wear and can be used repeatedly. Thread tape and thread sealants of other materials can be replaced, eliminating the need for full-length NPTF thread, thus reducing the fitting size. Sealing is achieved on inclined, concave and convex surfaces. Fittings also available in coated thread sealant, Loctite Vibra-Seal 516 Connection and disconnection of the tube can be repeated several times and can be performed using one hand and without the use of tools.

Nylon Tubing
Tubes can be selected according to applications. They are highly reliable, meeting needs of space saving and complex piping, etc.
[Soft nylon tube] Very flexible compared to the conventional nylon tubes, optimal for piping in small or complicated spaces. The tube also has sufficient characteristics such as cold resistance, weather resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance, etc. Due to the adoption of a new manufacturing process, larger inner diameter and increased strength are realized simultaneously with the same outer diameter. As a tube for pneumatic piping to respond to larger flow rates, it also contributes economically.
[New urethane tube] Due to the adoption of a new manufacturing process, larger inner diameter and increased strength are realized simultaneously with the same outer diameter. As a tube for pneumatic piping to respond to larger flow rates, it also contributes economically.
[Urethane tube] Durable and flexible thanks to its high mechanical strength. This is widely used in general pneumatic lines, etc.
[Coiling tube] It can be used as extensible coiling. Unlike conventional products, fittings are easily installed and the coil contracts and expands very smoothly due to the straight section provided with the specified length in the direction of expansion and contraction. The coil terminal durability is excellent.
CLIPPARD
Clippard Minimatic® Fittings
Clippard precision fittings will save you time, space, and money when designing versatile, productive, trouble free, pneumatic circuits. Our endless variety of fittings insure that you find just the right “fit” when plumbing pneumatic circuits or assemblies. These fittings are small in size but large in performance, allowing for streamlining of pneumatic assemblies and eliminating the need for larger, more expensive, cumbersome fittings. Clippard was the first to develop ports utilizing the #10-32 thread. This thread has become an industry standard in the marketplace.Polyurethane tubing offers a wider range of chemical compatibility than vinyl, may be used at much higher temperatures, and does not require clamps when used with barb fittings. When using hose or tubing, care should always be taken to avoid sharp bends to prevent compressing the inside diameter of the hose or tubing and restricting flow. For extremely close connections, allow a short loop of hose to avoid crimping.
COLDER
AseptiQuik®/Sterile
AseptiQuik® Connectors provide quick and easy sterile connections, even in non-sterile environments—a critical capability for biopharmaceutical manufacturers. Featuring an easy to use three step design and a wide range of options—including 1/8- to 1-inch sizes and genderless connections—the AseptiQuik® family allows you to transfer media easily with less risk of error. Their robust, reliable performance eliminates the need for clamps, fixtures or tube welders, giving you sterile, high quality single-use connections every time.
The benefits of single-use systems can be found throughout biopharmaceutical manufacturing, but whether you have an upstream or downstream process, sterility assurance is critical. Innovative connection technology from CPC allows manufacturers to quickly and easily make aseptic connections between single-use bag systems, tube sets and/or stainless process equipment.
Steam-Thru® Connections allow a quick and easy sterile connection between biopharmaceutical processing equipment and disposable bag and tube assemblies. You can safely transfer media without the cleaning and validation concerns associated with reusable components.
AseptiQuik® Connectors enable sterile media transfer between tube sets and bag assemblies, even in non-sterile environments. The connector’s robust design ensures reliable performance without the need for clamps, fixtures or tube welders and can be connected without the use of a laminar flow hood.
Aseptic Disconnections Single-Use Technologies: Aseptic Disconnections for Sterile Media Transfer. The benefits of single-use systems can be found throughout biopharmaceutical manufacturing, from filter integrity testing to final fill operations. Whether they’re used in an upstream or downstream process, sterility assurance is critical.
Now CPC’s HFC39 quick disconnect couplings allow process engineers to confidently disconnect tubing and process lines without the risk of contamination. Automatic shutoff valves close the flow path aseptically, protecting valuable media while eliminating the need for pinch clamps and tube welders. These lightweight connectors can easily be integrated with single-use assemblies and meet all ADCF requirements.
Steam-Thru® Connections. Single-Use Technologies: Steam-Thru. CPC’s patented Steam-Thru® Connection technology creates a sterile link between pre-sterilized bag systems or tube sets and stainless process equipment. The product’s innovative three-port design maximizes sterility assurance by eliminating “dead legs” and allowing steam to pass directly through the connection to “steam on” to stainless equipment.
Sterility assurance is further expanded with the introduction of CPC’s Steam-Thru II, which provides “steam on” and “steam off” capability, allowing both a sterile connection and sterile disconnection without the need for a laminar flow hood. This reduces the potential of microbial contamination of the process flow path, as well as environmental contamination within your facilities.
CPC’s Steam-Thru® product line includes several valve and termination options that give you the flexibility to meet today’s mounting and flow requirements. The connection is attached to single-use bag systems or tubing, then pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation up to 50 KiloGrays or autoclaved up to 129°C for 60 minutes, depending on the product configuration.
For mounting to the processing equipment, engineers may specify the connection with either a ¾” or 1-½” sanitary termination on the middle port. Tri-clover clamps are used to secure the middle sanitary to the equipment and the lower sanitary to the steam trap. Once attached, these two lower ports allow a true steam-through SIP process to eliminate potential “dead legs” that trap contaminants. With Steam-Thru® II, you can perform a SIP cycle of up to 135°C or 35 PSI for up to 60 minutes to “steam on” the connector to the equipment. Effectiveness of the “steam on” cycle was confirmed through bacterial challenge testing using Bacillus stearothermophilus performed at the University of Minnesota’s Biotechnology Research Center.
Once the SIP cycle is complete, the operator simply depresses the thumb latch to allow valve transition from the steam position to the flow position. This creates a sterile flow path between the stainless equipment and the single-use system, allowing aseptic fluid transfer. A benefit of the Steam-Thru® II valve design is a maximum Cv value of 8.2, which translates to a flow rate of 43.9 liters per minute at 2 PSI, making it appropriate for high volume applications.
After fluid transfer is complete, depressing the thumb latch again allows repositioning of the valve back to the steam position for a second SIP or “steam off” cycle. This eliminates any biologic residual remaining between the process equipment and the single-use system, minimizing the potential for environmental contamination at disconnection.
In addition to the bacterial challenge testing completed on the “steam on” cycle, bacterial challenge tests were performed following media transfer on the “steam off” cycle. Bacterial ingress tests using Brevendimonas diminuta were conducted by Northview Labs to verify post-sterilization seal performance. Other performance tests, including helium/steam leak, tensile and maximum burst were completed to assure design and process integrity. The Steam-Thru® II is comprised of non-animal origin USP Class VI polysulfone and platinum-cured silicone seals, which were tested for biocompatibility.
Drum/Dispensing
Jerry cans, drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs)—you can use our DrumQuik® dispensing systems on virtually any container for safe, “closed” extraction of chemical or food-based fluids. With several dip-tube based systems of different sizes and materials, our solutions minimize the potential for potentially dangerous exposure while protecting your fluids themselves from contamination.
Open and Semi-Closed Dispensing Systems
In many industries and applications, food products, chemicals or other liquids are poured or pumped directly out of open shipping containers. These open or semi-closed dispensing systems are susceptible to contamination, spillage, waste and noxious vapor release. Often end usrs have to figure out how to transfer the liquid from the container to their process system. As a result, personnel, equipment and the environment can be needlessly exposed to hazardous chemicals and the fumes they generate, and the media itself is susceptible to contamination. CPC’s DrumQuik® Dispensing Systems provide packagers a “ready to dispense” container that is safe and easy for their customers to connect. DrumQuik® systems allow you to convert almost any open dispensing system to a closed dispensing system, protecting workers, the environment and container contents. It’s the safer, simpler, quicker dispensing solution.
Closed Dispensing Systems
A closed dispensing system is designed to minimize exposure to chemicals or liquid consumables during transport, dispensing and disposal. CPC’s DrumQuik® Closed Dispensing Systems incorporate an integrated closure (bung plug) and dip-tube assembly that eliminates the need to remove and re-install the dip tube at point-of-use. This makes closed dispensing possible. In addition, the drum insert assembly can be reused, but it is so cost effective it can be treated as part of a single-trip disposable package.Closed dispensing systems greatly minimize the potential for hazardous chemical and vapor exposure:

FREELINWADE
If Inflexibility, cracks, and punctures have ever plagued your tubing, then it’s time for you to switch to polyurethane. PUR tubing provides excellent flexibility and resists the kinds of damage that can lead to dangerous leaks. Freelin-Wade offers highly versatile PU tubing in a range of sizes, configurations and hardness levels. No matter what your application, we have the right polyurethane tubing for your needs. Our inventory of PUR tubing includes an array of styles, including:
Nylon tubing, also known as polyamide tubing, can withstand higher temperatures and pressures than many other tubing options. It is often used as a substitute for metal because it is lightweight and corrosion resistant. This tubing is made from nylon, a polymer plastic made from repeating chains of amide groups that are bonded together to form fibers.
Nylon 11 tubing is a unique kind of tubing made from polyamide 11. This material is known for its outstanding chemical, abrasion, impact, and moisture resistance and dimensional stability. Nylon 11 is used in industries ranging from food processing to auto manufacturing to robotics. Because it’s resistant to moisture absorption, Freelin-Wade’s nylon tubing is more corrosion resistant than other types of nylon tubing. It is heat and UV stabilized, making it resistant to stress-cracking, and so is ideal for use in outdoor applications with constant sun exposure. When compared to other nylon resins, our nylon tubing is also highly chemical resistant.
Polyethylene tubing is flexible, lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant. Polyethylene tubing, also known as poly tubing or PE tubing, is an effective solution for a wide range of liquid, gas, and fluid transfer applications. PE tubing is FDA approved for food and beverage applications. Freelin-Wade offers linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) tubing, as well as our proprietary, extra-flexible Liquiflex POE polyethylene tubing.
Linear Low Density Polyethylene
One of polyethylene’s best features is its low cost; however, a low-cost tube often means a short lifespan. That’s why, many years ago, Freelin-Wade made the decision to only extrude our tubing from higher-grade, longer-lasting LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene).LLDPE tubing’s greatest advantage over standard low density polyethylene (LDPE) is its superior environmental crack resistance, or ESCR. Environmental stresses that can affect the longevity of LDPE tubing include chemical exposure, aging, connection to barb-type fittings, and high-vibration connections with compression fittings.
Liquiflex-POE Tubing
Freelin-Wade has developed a new polyolefin elastomer tube, called Liquiflex, that is ideal for conveying liquids and fluids in low-pressure applications. It provides all the chemical resistant properties of LLDPE tubing, and offers even greater flexibility than polyurethane. Liquiflex offers both of these outstanding properties in a single tube. Liquiflex is made from a polyolefin elastomer (POE) resin that comes from the same family of polymers as polyethylene and polypropylene. Like these other olefins, it is resistant to solvents and chemically inert; unlike those resins, it is an elastomer, making it highly elastic. If you bend it, kink it, or crush it, Liquiflex POE tubing will spring back to its original shape.
Liquiflex Tubing vs. Polyethylene/LLDPE
Polyethylene tubing’s durability and low cost have made it a popular choice for many applications. Freelin-Wade’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is highly flexible, but it’s nothing like what Liquiflex can do. Variation options for Liquiflex includes coiling (it’s memory makes it excellent for coiled tube) and may be bonded to form multi-tube bundles.Poly-vinyl Chloride (PVC) is possibly the most versatile product from the chemical industry. It's used extensively in construction from siding, to wire insulation, to window frames to pipe. With the addition of a plasticizer, the compound becomes quite flexible and an excellent material for clear tubing. Pharmaceutical manufacturers, food and beverage manufacturers and medical device manufacturers all rely on clear PVC flexible tubing for its efficiency, cleanliness, and longevity. Freelin-Wade's flexible PVC uses a non-DEHP, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this bio-based and environmentally conscious plastic tubing material.
Freelin-Wade’s non-reinforced clear PVC tubing is manufactured using a safe, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this environmentally-friendly material in the plastic tubing industry. Our clear PVC tubing features a smooth interior and exterior surface that prevents sediment accumulation and resists bacterial growth. It is FDA-approved for food contact, Cal Prop 65 compliant, and meets USPVI testing requirements. This makes our vinyl tubing ideal for food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, and other clean-critical industries.
Freelin-Wade’s reinforced PVC tubing features an open-weave inner braid, making it tough enough for applications with working pressures up to 250 psi. The smooth-bore, full-flow I.D. dimensions are sized to fit standard commercial barbed fittings. Our reinforced tube is crystal clear for easy monitoring of fluid flow. It has a smooth inner and outer surface that prevents sediment accumulation, and is bacteria and pathogen resistant. This makes it an ideal tubing solution for pharmaceutical, medical, food and beverage, and other clean-critical applications.
Freelin-Wade's flexible PVC uses a non-DEHP, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this bio-based and socially conscious material in the plastic tubing industry years ago. Freelin-Wade’s PVC has a smooth interior and exterior which prevents sediment accumulation, making it well-suited for the food & beverage, medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Coiled tubing and hoses are the right choice for a wide range of applications. At Freelin-Wade, our catalog includes a complete selection of coiled hoses and tubes.
Coiled Hoses
Coiled hoses feature reinforcement, which is a braided thread embedded in the walls of the hose, and reusable fittings. Coiled hoses are useful for a wide range of applications, including impact wrenches, air tools, blow guns and more.
Coiled Tubing
Unlike coiled hoses, tubing does not feature reinforcement or fittings. Choose tubing if you prefer to assemble a hose according to your own specifications, or if you need tubing for a large assembly. Use push-to-connect or standard fittings with coiled tubing.
Benefits
JOHN GUEST
John Guest offer the widest range of push-fit fittings, tube and other fluid control products for drinks dispense and pure water applications. The world’s first food quality push in fitting, the John Guest range is now over 800 items strong and provides the quickest and most effective of installations. Pushing the tube into the fitting is all that is needed to produce an instant but permanent leakproof connection. The fittings are just as easy to disconnect and re use without the need for replacement parts.
NSF standard 51 listed products in this catalogue are produced in FDA compliant materials making them especially suitable for potable liquids. Almost all products are also supported by a John Guest declaration of compliance with European Regulation (EC) no. 1935/2004. Selected items can also be used for inert gases such as CO2.
Inch Polypropylene Fittings
The PP Range of inch-size push-in fittings is offered for tube sizes 1/4" O.D. to 1/2" O.D. The fittings are manufactured in white polypropylene with food grade EPDM O-rings. They have been developed to satisfy the filtered pure water market and wide range of applications.
Service and Repair Kits
The John Guest Serivce and Repair Kit includes various configurations of our most popular fittings in 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” PP Range. Fittings come in a sturdy and compartmentalized case for ease of storage and transportation.
Inch Acetal Fittings
The PI Range of inch-size push-in fittings is offered for tube sizes 5/32" O.D. to 1/2" O.D. They are also suitable for air and inert gases and can therefore be used on CO2 lines, pneumatic applications and vacuum.
Inch Acetal Fittings (White)
The CI Range of inch-size fittings is offered for tube sizes 1/4" O.D. and 3/8" O.D. The fittings are manufactured in white acetal, with a food grade EPDM O-ring. They have been developed for the water industry but are equally suitable for other potable liquids. They are also recommended for intermittent hot water applications.
Inch Superseal Fittings
For use with Stainless Steel Tubing
The SI Range of inch-size push-in fittings is offered for tube sizes 1/4" O.D. to 3/8" O.D.
Superseal is a special fitting designed to provide extra grip on stainless steel tubes.
The Superseal design features a collet with integrally molded stainless steel teeth
similar to the standard Super Speedfit design, but incorporating an additional
hand-operated nut and wedge shaped plastic washer to apply extra pressure to
the collet and the double O-ring seals. This ensures that the collet teeth bite
thoroughly into the tube to provide grip, while at the same time compressing the o-rings
to further enhance sealing.
Like other John Guest Fittings, Superseal is suitable for potable liquids and other food
quality applications.
Metric Polypropylene Fittings
The PPM Range of metric size push-in fittings is offered for our tube sizes 8mm O.D. to 15mm O.D. The fittings are manufactured in white polypropylene with EPDM o-rings. They have been developed to satisfy the compatibility needs for a wide range of applications. The PPM Range is NOT suitable for compressed air applications. For these situations we recommend the PM Range on pages 16-18.
Metric Acetal Fittings
The PM Range of metric-size push-in fittings is offered for tube sizes 4mm O.D. to 28mm O.D. The fittings are manufactured in black acetal copolymer with food grade nitrile O-rings. Especially produced for foodstuff and potable liquids, they are equally suitable for air and inert gases and can therefore be used on CO2 lines, pneumatics applications and vacuum.
Inch Polypropylene Angle Stop Adapter Valves
The ASVPP Range of inch-size Angle Stop Adapter Valves is offered in white polypropylene with food grade EPDM o-rings. Our Angle Stop Adapter Valve connects between your valve and riser, to the main water supply line, for applications in Reverse Osmosis, Filtration Systems, Automatic Coffee Brewers, Ice-makers, and many more. Please refer to our Technical Support Department for guidance on use with other potable liquids. The valves are not to be used with compressed air, explosive gases, petroleum spirits and other fuels, or for heating systems.
Inch Acetal Shut-Off Valves
The PISV Range of Inch-size Shut-Off Valves is available in 3/8" and 1/2" tube O.D. size. The Valve is manufactured in gray acetal copolymer with a nitrile o-ring. The valves are available with long and short handles to operate a 1/4 turn off action. Specifically designed for compressed air and potable liquids, the valves are ideal for CO2 lines in beverage dispensing and for pneumatic applications.
Acetal Shut-Off and By-Pass Valves
Specifically manufactured in white acetal with EPDM ‘O’-rings, these valves have been developed to satisfy the requirements of the US Recreational Vehicle (RV) and Mobile Home (MH) markets. The valves are for hot and cold water only.
Inch Brass Fittings
Designed for use in coffee brewing equipment, beverage dispensing and vending machine applications. The fittings are manufactured in brass with a polypropylene collet and a food grade EPDM o-ring. NOT suitable for compressed air applications.
The John Guest range of push-in fi ttings and pipe provide the ideal connection from compressor receiver to air line service components through to complete ring main and take off points. A compressed air system can be installed quickly and easily, compared with other installation methods, time savings of at least 50% are easily achievable.
No need to prepare threaded pipe or solvent, all the connections can be made with a simple push-in action. The system is then immediately ready for use. Complex systems can be assembled much more rapidly than with traditional methods and because fi ttings are easy to disconnect, systems can be altered or expanded with much reduced production down time.
The fi ttings are produced in either a tough engineering plastics material or in brass in sizes 12mm to 28mm. They are intended for use with John Guest nylon pipe but can also be used with copper or aluminum pipe.
The new Water Trap Tee from John Guest solves the on-going problem of moisture in a compressed air system and provides the easy alternative to the need to install “Swan Necks”. The ingenious inside arrangement of the fitting allows air to flow, with minimum head loss, from the main to take-off point without allowing water to follow. The moisture is retained in the line to be drawn off at some suitable location.
