  • Unimotion Ballscrew Driven Linear Unit series are assembled with a precision Ballscrew, integrated guide rail under compact dimensions. They provide high performance standards, such as high speeds, accuracy and reliability. These systems can be easily combined into multi-axis systems for various applications. The compact, precision the compact, precision-extruded aluminum profile from 6063 AL with integrated zero-backlash ball rail guide system, allows high load capabilities and optimal cycles for the movement of larger masses at high speeds. These units come at an excellent price to performance ratio and we ensure quick lead times. The Ballscrew in these units comes standard with a tolerance class IS07 (IS05 on request), with a ball nut that reduces backlash. Additionally, a corrosion-resistant protection strip can be applied to further protect all the parts in the profile from dust and other contaminants. The aluminum profile includes T-slots for fixing the linear unit and attaching sensors/switches. Reed switches are additionally available. The central lubrication ports allow for easy re-lubrication of the Ballscrew and rail guide. Finally, motors and gearboxes can be mounted on this units.

  • Unimotion Belt Driven Linear Unit series with toothed belt drives and compact dimensions provide high performance features such as, high speed, good accuracy and repeatability. This actuators can easily be combined into multi-axis systems for various application projects. Excellent price/performance ratio and quick delivery time are ensured with every product. The compact, precision-extruded aluminum profile from 6063 AL with integrated zero-backlash ball rail guide system, allows high load capabilities and optimal cycles for the movement of larger masses at high speeds. These linear units use a pre-tensioned steel reinforced AT polyurethane timing toothed belt. In conjunction with a zero-backlash drive pulley high moments with alternating loads with good positioning accuracy, low wear and noise can be realized. In the profile slot driving polyurethane time belt protects all the parts in the profile from dust and other contaminations. An option corrosion-resistant protection strip is also available. The aluminum profile includes T-slots for fixing the linear unit and for attaching sensors and switches. Reed switches are additionally available. Different carriage lengths with lubrication ports, allow easy re-lubrication of the linear unit. Finally, motors and gearboxes can be mounted on this units.

    Cylinders with Integrated Guide Series QCT and QCB

    These compact cylinders, designed to be used in applications where space is limited, are available in two versions: one with sintered bronze bushes (model QCT) and the other with linear ball bearings (model QCB). The QCT version would normally be selected when the side loads applied to the cylinder are high. Model QCB cylinders are suitable for high precision and fast cycling applications.

    Cylinders with Integrated Guide Series QCTF and QCBF

    These cylinders have been designed to be used in applications where space is limited. Regarding the bearings, the Slide Units are available in two versions, one with double sintered bronze bushings (Mod. QCTF) and the other with double linear ball bearings ( Mod. QCBF). The QCTF version would normally be selected when the side loads applied to the slide unit are high. Mod. QCBF is suitable for fast cycles (less side load) and higher precision.

    Twin Cylinders Series QX

    The Series QX offers a range of actuators covering a great number of applications which require a guided linear movement. The design of the double piston, besides assuring a solid and effective guide, offers double force in compact dimensions.     The PMI linear guideway is a design of rolling motion with a low friction coeffi cient, and the diff erence between dynamic and static friction is very small. Therefore, the stick-slip will not occur when submicron feeding is making.

    Low frictional resistance, high precision maintained for long period.

    The frictional resistance of a linear guideway is only 1/20th to 1/40th of that in a slide guide. With a linear guideway, a well lubrication can be easily achieved by supplying grease through the grease nipple on carriage or utilizing a centralized oil pumping system, thus the frictional resistance is decreased and the accuracy could be maintained for long period.

    High rigidity with four-way load design.

    The optimum design of geometric mechanics makes the linear guideway to bear the load in all four directions, radial, reversed radial, and two lateral directions. Furthermore, the rigidity of linear guideway could be easily achieved by preloading carriage and by adding the number of carriages.

    Suitable for high speed operation.

    Due to the characteristic of low frictional resistance, the required driving force is much lower than in other systems, thus the power consumption is small. Moreover, the temperature rising effect is small even under high speed operation.

    Easy installation with interchangeability.

    Compared with the high-skill required scrapping process of conventional slide guide, the linear guideway can offer high precision even if the mounting surface is machined by milling or grinding. Moreover the interchangeability of linear guideway gives a convenience for installation and future maintenance.

    KM series consist of linear guideway unit and ballscrew unit. For saving space, PMI combine the carriage of linear guideway and nut of ballscrew to a integral Carriage-Nut. The carriage-nut cooperate with the U rail designed for high rigidity to achieve the high rigidity and high accuracy in the minimal space, especially to saving time of installation. Moreover, the design of two rows with Gothic-arch groove and contact angle of 45°can bear four directional loading.

    UNIMOTION

    The PNCE are electric cylinders with a precision ball screw drive. The electric cylinder is based on the standard ISO 15552. Its outer design and dimensions are very similar to pneumatic cylinders. High performance features such as:

  • high speeds,
  • good positioning accuracy and
  • high repeatability

  • are ensured through a precision ball screw with reduced backlash (preload on request) of the ball nut and non-rotating piston rod. For a long service life the re-lubrication can be done through a lubrication nipple.

    The design with its smooth surfaces enables easy cleaning of the cylinder. In combination with a lubricant class H1 it is also suitable for food & beverage applications. It can be additionaly equipped with switches and ISO standard accessories.
